Show incompatible modules at the end of publish list (or warning message)
Created on 20 Nov 2018
Evert van der Zalm

When working in lager factories or those with a lot of references so some modules it would really help to sort the publish list where incompatible messages are shown last. This would help a lot with notifing the user that is publishing that module there are incompatibles that needs some 'work'. A warning message would also do this trick.See this screenshot for example:

Add a REST API method based on its CURL call
Created on 15 Nov 2022

Many web service specifications display its CURL calling command. It would speed up the process to consume these REST calls in OutSystems if there was a way to given a CURL command, OutSystems will generate the REST API web service consumption in Service Studio (similar to the "generate structure from JSON" feature).

Show only in use dependencies in Manage Dependencies window by default
Created on 17 Apr 2019
Márcio Mônego Fonseca

Guys,If the "Manage Dependencies" window only shows the used dependencies by default, It would be more time saving when I just want to refresh dependencies that I already have.Even with the performance revision you made recently on this screen. On a recent dev environment it takes sometimes 2-5 sec do show ALL modules I have, to create new dependencies, and almost all the time I just want to refresh the ones I already have.I know that there is a button to strict the collection, BUT the data was already loaded and the time has already taken. Please consider this.

Convert option for local variables in REST methods to input/output variables
Created on 22 Feb 2022

Hi,I think that could be nice to have the "Convert to input variable/Convert to output variable" option in the REST methods local variables. It could accelerate the process in case of changes or corrections, because, at this time, we don't have it:Best regards,Ricardo Pereira

Add a case insensitive comparison operator to Service Studio
Created on 05 Oct 2022
Greg Whitten

Sometimes you want to compare text outside of an aggregate in a case insensitive manner. To do this you need to enclose both sides of the = in ToUpper or ToLower functions. It would be nice to have an operator to shortcut this.Something like: var1 ~= var2Instead of: ToUpper(var1) = ToUpper(var2)

It would be nice to be able to choose several (not necessarily all) results of a Find, and replace only the selected ones

AI Mentor to show the Unused Dependency
Created on 27 Jan 2025
Manikandan Sambasivam

The AI Mentor currently offers insights into 'Unused Actions in Modules' and 'Unused Aggregates or SQL Queries.' Likewise, adding a feature to identify 'Unused Dependencies' would be highly beneficial for developers, helping to prevent indirect cyclic references and reducing the overall size of the module.

It could be better for a large environment, if the recent module list shows up to 10 or 12 modules

It could be better for a large environment if the recent module list shows up to 10 or 12 modules. Now that it only shows six recent modules, yeah!, by using CTRL+O, the modules can be opened, but it will be better if we have them on the front page.

Optimize Catalog Updates with Select All Batch Processing
Created on 25 Jan
Kerollos Adel
2
Current Situation When configuring multiple modules, the system performs individual Catalog updates for each module, which increases execution time when the number of modules is large. Problem Statement When the number of items increases, users are required to: Select and configure each item individually . Proposed Enhancement Introduce a “Select All” option that enables: Selecting all relevant items at once Executing a single batch update on the Catalog instead of multiple individual updates
