Hi everyone! We use cloning modules for developing features that after get merged into the original module. When publishing a cloned module, Service Studio publishes it to the application "Independent Modules". We then need to go there and move it to the correct application. It would be helpful that when publishing a cloned module, Service Studio would ask in which application the cloned module should be placed.--Tiago Bernardo

Right now, we can change the default icon of one action, to a custom icon. But when we select a set of two or more actions those are not possible. That could be very useful, if possible, to change an icon to a group of actions at once.

When there is an error, like missing reference, at the beginning of solution publish - it still continues to go for half an hour or more, and only after "Gathering dependencies..." stage it fails with a message like "The deployment was aborted due to errors. No applications or modules were deployed".This is really really really frustrating, especially when you are in a hurry, especially when you have noticed the error and fixed it, but you still have to wait for half an hour because there is no way to stop solution publish. Why would it not stop immediately after the fatal error has occurred? Or at least show  that "continue/abort" confirmation, immediately.Isn't this rule #2 from The Book?

Have an additional tab next to "processes/interface/logic/data" with application/module notes/comments made by devs. This would not only contain the "ToDo" post-its but also general comments about the module that don't have a particular screen. With possible links to code/actions.This way when working together there is a centralized place for developers to get extra information.(yes todo notes now show up in the "Warning" tab. But I'm not convinced this is the right place for them)

As it stands currently, setting the "Decimals" value to 0 or -1, defaults the amount of decimal spaces for the Currency datatype to 2 (eg. "$12.33" instead of "$12"). Similarly setting the decimal separator to an empty string "", causes the entire value to become a decimal. Fixing either one of these would allow Currency to be forced to whole numbers only.

Problem today: Even with Architecture Dashboard and AI Mentor, developers only discover issues after they have already been built. Issues like: Upward references, Wrong layer usage, Poor data modeling, Monolithic modules, Heavy server actions, Inefficient aggregates or SQL, Performance bottlenecks, Bad dependencies. These issues accumulate silently and become extremely expensive to fix later. I would like to propose a new, transformative platform capability that would significantly improve application quality, reduce technical debt, and strengthen governance for teams of all sizes — especially enterprises. The proposal is an AI-driven engine built into Service Studio that: Detects architecture violations in real time. Predicts future technical debt before it occurs. Suggests optimal module placement, layering, and reference patterns. Auto-fixes architectural mistakes with one click. Simulates performance and scalability impact of design decisions. Ensures every app follows Outsystems recommended architecture from day one. I hope this would bring huge value to the entire community.

If we want to inspect or edit the value of the external_id attribute of a user, we always need to do this via direct access to the database. It would be much cleaner to have this attribute available in the User_Show and User_Edit screens of the Users Application.

For automated testing we need often to make actions on our modules to setup/teardown our tests. We don't want to have this code on our production environment.By separating the production code and the test code in different folders it should be able to not deploy and run the test code on the production environment.

Each video has its own Lesson Materials PDF. It would be nice to download all the Lesson Materials from that specific course in one click instead of going video by video to download.

Previously suggested more than 10 years ago, here https://www.outsystems.com/ideas/123/different-service-center-colors-for-different-environments/Was marked as "Implemented" however the implementation was just adding a text label, rather than more prominent coloring or theme. Moreover, the "improvement" seems to have been removed in OS11.Now that the top-menu has a white background, it should be easier to implement different colored backgrounds for different environments, either as a text-box accepting a hex-color value, drop-down selection, or pre-configured colors, for instance:This would provide more differentiation between different environments and help prevent configuration mistakes, e.g. configuring mistakes on production, or incorrectly deleting modules
