Developers often forget to add a Prompt for Input fields, even when a Label exists. This leads to inconsistent UI and lower usability. Proposed Solution: If the Prompt is empty, OutSystems automatically sets it to match the Label text. Developers can still override it manually. Works for single-line and multi-line text inputs, across Web, Reactive, and Mobile apps. Example: Label: Email Prompt: (empty)→ Automatically set to: "Email"

I find it very odd that the exams contain lots of information not covered in the training material.I'm well aware that this information in contained within the documentation, however reading through pages and pages of text does not suit everyone's learning style and can be pretty tedious.I'm also aware that the expectation is that you put into practice what you’ve learned during training prior to sitting the exam, but that doesn't ensure you acquire all the necessary information.It would be far better to have more comprehensive training courses and cover all the required material, as is standard with most exams.As things stand, unless you have the time and inclination to read through all the documentation, whether you know the additional information or not can come down to luck, which is not at all ideal.In addition to that, many of the questions appear to be trying to trick you by using confusing and ambiguous language, and I'm not sure why this is necessary.It would be better if questions were clear and straight forward, so that it tests your knowledge and not your interpretation of their English grammar, which is sometimes lacking, perhaps due to English not being the first language of those writing it.If, for some reason there is really the reason to include ‘trick’ questions (though I can’t think why), then at the very least, the questions need to be unambiguous and grammatically correct, so that they properly test knowledge and don't trip people up through misunderstanding.

You could increase the amount of database available in the personal environment, as 2GB is often not enough.

No one have doubts about that aggregates are very powerful but in lot of cases the Simple Queries do the same and are more appropriate.The main reasons for this idea is this post . And I just passed to an Idea to know how much developers agreed with this so Outsystems can bring back Simple Query since the code is already there.Thanks and Version 9 is awesome!

Currently, when we send emails using OutSystems, it doesn’t return the email ID after sending. This makes it very difficult to track/identify which emails were sent successfully and which ones failed. For example, if we are send 100 emails every day, we have to rely only on the system entity to check their status. But there is no provision to link this system entity to our application's transactional entity, so it’s hard to identify emails with their purpose or origin. It would be very helpful if the SendEmail action could return the email ID as output. This way, we could link the sent email with our business entity and easily track delivery status for each transaction.

An app that seems where I've been in the previous 14 days and cross references with all people using the app. If one of them is infected and crossed our path, we'll be notified that we are are risk and need to be in quarantine.

OutSystems created a what's new page to keep everybody aware of what is being released. That's great! But there's no way to be notified every time there is a new entry :(In my case, since I want to be aware and check every awesome stuff released, that would help me be updated.My suggestion is to have an RSS feed or an email (you could use the daily community updates email).Thanks :)

I have been using images that I have uploaded to the images resource folder but every time I have to select an image all I have is the name of the image as a reference , It would be nice to have a thumbnail next to the name of the image to allow me to preview the image before adding it to the screen/weblock. A "GetMonthLastDay()" function that receives as input a specific date and retrieves as output the last day of the month provided (i.e. 28, 29, 30, 31). Something similar to this: This can be very helpful when handling custom date widgets with no day to choose and you still want to filter the range from day 1 of a month to the last day of some future month. Also useful when you want to know if some date belongs to a leap year (or not).
