Create an Export Button to show the list of all versions of the Applications on Factory.
Created on 06 Jan
Paulo Russo

Hello Everyone. When we access the Application > Applications tab in Lifetime and want to extract all versions of existing applications from all applications in the OutSystems Factory, we don't have the option to download everything. My idea is this: to have an Export button like "Download Versions List" Button on this page to automate this time-consuming process. See the image below. Best Regards, Paulo Russo .

ODC open external logic files
Created on 25 Feb
Miguel Garcia

In ODC we should be able to open external logic files downloaded from Forge to check the code inside. Without knowing what is being done, we are just trusting in the actions comments without knowing exactly the logic inside and leading to possible privacy and security risks. O11 Integration Studio was more transparent on this. It was also more simpler and quick to create extensions.

Add an option to send a null value in a JSON structure.
Created on 04 Feb

Adding an option to send null values in JSON structures for objects and attributes is currently handled in the `onbeforerequest` event, and for very complex structures, this becomes very complicated. This would facilitate development.

Drag a label to an input and automatically bind them
Created on 19 Mar 2025
Mariano Picco

Would be a (minor) quality of life feature if you could bind a label to an input if you simply drag and drop it from the tool box on the left straight on the Input widget. For example here, this widget is bound to a "Max records" local variable, to control how many records an aggregate returns. If I drag the label on to it, it could do several things: Add the label on top of the Input Set the Input Widget automatically on the Label properties, and give it a name like "InputName_Label" Set the text for the label on a 'best guess' case, depending on what the input is bound to (for example here, Max records) This could work for all other input type widgets: text area, switches, checkboxes, dropdowns, etc.

Increase Person Account Limits
Created on 18 Mar

Personal test/learning accounts have very short time limits, selected long ago, before the average wristwatch had gigabytes of storage. This has created a problem that if you don't log in to your account weekly, all your work, like forge components you may be maintaining, get deleted. Please can the timeout be extended based on community rating / responsibilities?

ODC forge components are NOT included in you "Asset Count" on your profile, only OS11 force components. They should be included.

ODC open protected app in view mode
Created on 25 Feb

In ODC, as in O11, e should be able to know which logic is being applied inside an app (for example to find from errors are coming from), for example in the (System) app. When we try to open a protected app, it does not even open in a read only mode:

Null values

Full widespread support for null values, in all layers: database, actions, ...Not fake zeros disguised as nulls, but real thing, the ones that we can compare to is null. The ones that mean "I don't know the value for this... I don't even know if its zero"

Enable using HTML content in email body in Reactive app
Created on 30 Mar 2022
Ellen Visser

I would like to be able to use HTML content in the email body in Reactive apps.Html content is needed to sent emails with a nice layout from Reactive apps.Expressions in Traditional Applications have the "Escape Content" attribute. When you set it to "No" a mail sent by a Traditional Application is delivered as a HTML Document. This is not possible in Reactive applications. The HTML Element can also not be used in an email in Reactive app.The only current solution would be, to create a Traditional Application just for sending the email and provide a public EmailSend-Method. But that is a lot of overhead just to send a mail.
