Where the community turned ideas into helpful apps
On March 16, 2020 we kicked off the COVID-19 Community Response Program and over the course of six months,
the community brainstormed ideas, then worked together to create and launch local and global solutions to help others in this time of need.
The program officially ended on September 16, 2020read all the details here.

OutSystems committed to helping launch 19 ideas focused on helping solve a global problem, using our product and expertise.
Providing free access to our enterprise-grade software, capable of handling large-scale projects if needed, for the duration of the pandemic.
Dedicating full-time support from our Community Team Advocates to enable, coach, and work with the OutSystems developers on these projects.

This app will allow any restaurant to register and upload their menus in a simple way, and once the menu is online the customer just needs to scan a QR code and a PWA app will load the menu.

This will avoid multiple customers touching the menus, less waste on discardable menus and investment on expensive devices such as tablets that wouldn’t last long if they are continuously cleaned with disinfectants.
