Out of the box, web blocks do not have runtime properties other than their id. They miss the attributes Valid and ValidationMessage, to expose or set their validation state. In addition, they do not expose their data unless they, themselves, decide to. Use the tools in this component to overcome these limitations and create built-in alike widgets.
This component is the reactive counterpart of the Web Blocks As First Class Citizens Forge component.
New functionality:
- Added enhanced web block templates to be used to create web blocks that expose one single value of one of the following data types: Decimal, Date, Date Time, Time, Boolean, and Binary Data.
- Added examples created from each of these new templates to the demo application.
Improvements:
- Added more functionality to the screen action that reveals the runtime properties of an enhanced web block to all templates. As a result, it will be easier for you to create your own enhanced web blocks.
