Details

Anyline is a mobile OCR SDK, which can be customized to scan all kinds of numbers, characters, text and codes.

The platform currently supports the following use cases:

IDs: Documents with MRZ, AT/DE/UK Driving Licenses, German ID front side, eCard, Identification document detection, Card Detection
Meter values
Serial numbers: VIN, Shipping Container, Universal Serial Number Scanner
License Plates
Barcode

Requirements:

Recommended are devices released after 2017 (iOS 10 or above, Android 7 or above)
Recommended Camera: 1080p video camera
Recommended CPU: 2 GHz or more
Recommended Browsers: Android - Chrome (latest), iOS - Safari (latest)
Not all view configurations are supported

Known Limitations / Issues:

Smartphones made before 2017 are not supported for performance reasons
iOS <= 14.3: The webcam is only supported in Safari so we only support Safari for older iOS versions
Some view configurations are not supported

Release notes (1.1.0)

Downgrade Anyline version from 36.0.0 to 35.0.0 since scan of MRZs were not working (at least in the devices I was able to test);
Fix issue with AnylineJS_SetFlashlightState action. This action was not working due to outdated Anyline documentation;
Added some missing descriptions;
Improvements to Demo app.
