This component is an implementation of PDF.JS Express Viewer.

PDF.JS Express Viewer is a custom build of PDF.JS Viewer which is an open source PDF viewer provided by Mozilla.

This custom build is distributed by Apryse / PDFTron.

They provide 2 versions of the PDF Express.

  • PDF.JS Express Viewer (Free)
  • PDF.JS Express Plus (Paid)

PDF.JS Express Viewer is a free version with limited features, while PDF.JS Express Plus is paid and have support to annotations among other things.

Even being free, PDF.JS Express Viewer also requires you to create an account and to define an API Key, please check the documentation for more details.

This component was not extensively tested, as I ended up using the open source PDF.JS Viewer version in my project. It was only because I needed more control over some features.
And you can find the forge component to the open source version here: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/14879/pdf-js-annotations

Anyway, it should work andif you chose to use it feel free to give feedback and reach me using the forums if you need help.
