Webhooks allow your server to be notified about events occurring within Channels.

You can activate webhooks in your account dashboard on a per Pusher application basis.

There is a delay of up to three seconds between a client disconnecting and channel_vacated or member_removed webhooks being sent. If the client reconnects within this delay, no webhooks will be sent.

Pusher.com API's is an extension where you can find the basic implementation of the API's from Pusher. Currently only the Pusher Channels API is implemented. You can send a message from a server to all connected clients. On the clients the message will be received in an OnNotify action, which means that you can build your own client-functionality around the message.
