Questions about the 10 day ODC demo trial
Question

Thank you for having the opportunity to use ODC for ten days. It really helps with training OutSystems. However, I have these questions.

What happens to my applications once my demo is over?

Are other users still able to use my applications after my 10 days are over and my access is denied?

Can I still access my applications from the browser or is my app-login also denied after 10 days.

Why can't I delete apps that I made?

If a project is exported and saved as an oml-file, can I use that file to import in another environment? So when I subscribe for another 10 days I can continue to work on my project?

Thank you.

Hi @Inge van Gemert

What happens to my applications once my 10-day demo is over?

When the demo period ends, your account and environment access are deactivated, but your applications remain stored on ODC servers. They aren’t automatically deleted, but without access to your account, you can't modify or manage them.

Can other users still access my applications after my 10 days are over?

No, once your access to the environment is revoked, all applications associated with your account become inactive. Other users also lose access

Can I still access my applications from the browser after 10 days?

No, after the demo period ends, you’re locked out of the ODC environment, and you won’t be able to access your applications or the backend until you renew your access.

Why can't I delete the apps I made?

The option to delete applications may be restricted because of the permissions set in the demo environment.

If I export a project as an OML file, can I import it into another environment and continue working on it?

Yes! If you export the project as an OML file, you can import it into another OutSystems environment and continue development. So, if you subscribe for another 10 days or gain access to another environment, you can pick up where you left off.

I think this helps to answer to your questions, if I am 100% correct :)
