I have been using Discovery for quite some time and haven't encountered this problem where on clicking Capture new snapshot the process is stuck on the below screen.
I tried to debug and couldn't find any error in the CreateSnapshot timer. No other timers have been executed from the DiscoveryProbe module. Has anyone encountered this issue and found a solution? Any help is appreciated.

Can you check the service center log, my be you found something in the log . it may be because of your environment is slow . and if possible try to configure older version of discovery and capture the screenshot again.

Hi would start by checking service center logs. Timer log will be my first target:
When was the timer fired ? did it finished with error ? what was the error (error.log can shed some light here)
If timer is running for a long period, look for slowsql on general log.
