AI Lake ?
Question

Does this exist in Outystems ?

I simply ask ChatGPT and the following was return to me....is this a forge or ?

AI Lake is a cutting-edge feature in OutSystems, a low-code development platform. Here's an overview:

*What is AI Lake?*

AI Lake is a centralized repository that stores and manages large amounts of data, making it easily accessible for AI and machine learning (ML) model training. It's designed to simplify the process of building, deploying, and managing AI models within OutSystems applications.

*Key Benefits*

1. *Unified Data Management*: AI Lake provides a single, unified repository for all your data, making it easier to manage and govern.

2. *Streamlined AI Development*: With AI Lake, you can quickly build, train, and deploy AI models using OutSystems' low-code platform.

3. *Improved Collaboration*: AI Lake enables seamless collaboration between developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, ensuring everyone is working with the same data.

4. *Enhanced Security and Governance*: AI Lake provides robust security and governance features, ensuring your data is protected and compliant with regulations.

*How AI Lake Works with OutSystems*

1. *Data Ingestion*: AI Lake ingests data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and files.

2. *Data Preparation*: AI Lake prepares the data for AI model training by cleaning, transforming, and formatting it.

3. *Model Training*: Developers can use AI Lake's built-in AI and ML capabilities or integrate with external AI platforms to train models.

4. *Model Deployment*: Trained models can be deployed directly into OutSystems applications, enabling real-time predictions and decision-making.

*Use Cases*

1. *Predictive Maintenance*: Use AI Lake to build predictive models that detect equipment failures, reducing downtime and increasing overall efficiency.

2. *Customer Churn Prediction*: Train AI models to predict customer churn, enabling proactive measures to retain customers.

3. *Fraud Detection*: Build AI-powered fraud detection systems that analyze transaction data and identify potential threats.

AI Lake is a powerful addition to the OutSystems platform, enabling developers to build and deploy AI-powered applications quickly and efficiently.

My advice is always "do not trust AI to talk about OutSystems". If you can't find it in Google, AI will also not have real information on that.

Today ChatGPT told me:

As of January 2025, there is no specific feature or product named "AI Lake" in the OutSystems platform. However, OutSystems has been actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to enhance application development and user experiences. Notable AI initiatives include:

  • AI Agent Builder: Introduced in March 2024, this tool allows developers to seamlessly integrate generative AI agents into new or existing applications without prior coding or AI expertise. It supports models like Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock, enabling rapid development of AI-powered solutions.

  • Azure OpenAI Connector: Launched in July 2023, this connector facilitates the integration of Azure OpenAI services, such as ChatGPT and GPT-4, into OutSystems applications. It enables functionalities like text completions, chat interactions, and embeddings, allowing developers to build AI-powered applications efficiently.

  • Project Morpheus: Announced in June 2023, Project Morpheus is OutSystems' vision for the future of generative AI development. It aims to allow developers to create applications using natural language prompts, with AI providing real-time suggestions and ensuring adherence to best practices.

These initiatives reflect OutSystems' commitment to integrating AI technologies to accelerate application development and enhance digital transformation efforts.

As you can see, it is outdated and incomplete.

If you are looking for some data magic, look at Data Fabric. You can integrate you AI and do your own lake.

Speaking of lake here is an oldie about Data and AI that also mention lakes (and monsters) https://www.outsystems.com/blog/posts/how-to-build-a-data-lake/
