Debugger is not working on my machine
Application Type
Reactive, Service
Service Studio Version
11.55.5 (Build 63932)
Platform Version
11.18.1 (Build 37828)

My Debugger is not working anymore on my Machine. I tried several things to get it to work again. My colleagues on the same network don't have this problem. If a use a different machine to run service studio it also works fine.

The problem occurs both debugging reactive applications and server actions on timers directly in the entry module (to make sure decencies are not the cause.

I tried:

* Rebooting the server (we have an onprem environment)

* Rebooting my laptop

* Reinstall service studio

* Delete Outsystems folders in AppData

* Use the setting "Use one connection per request in debugger"

* Debug using Microsoft Edge (normally I use Chrome)

* Debug on our acceptance environment

Nothing seems to be able to solve this issue. What else can I do to try to get my debugger working again?

Try to clear browser cookies and restart the browser.

Timer have some issues in debugging.

Thank you for your reply.

Removing browser cookies doesn't resolve the issue. I also never used Microsoft Edge before so that browser was completely clean but it doesn't work there either.

Hi Mark,

Had the same issue , i will try to reach out to Outsystems but it seems from Service studio version
11.55.4 in my case debugger stopped working server side. I downgraded to the 11.55.3 version and it works fine.

Hope it can help

Thank you for your reply,

Downgrading to Service studio 11.55.3 does indeed help, my debugger works again in this version.

I will not mark this answer as the solution since I think it a solid workaround but not a permanent fix. I'll keep the topic open to see if someone has a better solution.

Hi @Mark Baijens Try to uninstall and install chrome browser. This might solve the issue. I faced similar issue and it was somehow fixed my issue.

Similar here.

Only server side debugging stopped working, but with another weird behavior - it only happens on our internal servers. With an external connection it works fine.

Downgrading to 11.55.3 did the trick, I can confirm that the issue is present at 11.55.4, 11.55.5 and 1.55.6.

I will follow-up submitting a ticket with OutSystems.

Hello,

I experienced a similar issue once on a MacBook. Initially, I could debug without any problems, but then it suddenly stopped working.

In the end, the solution for me was to format the machine. It turned out that my browser had been improperly installed.

I hope this helps!
