Downgrading platform version from 11.33.0 to 11.31.0

Hello,

I would like to ask if anyone has done this before? The reason i want to downgrade is that the client's environment is at 11.31.0 instead. While there aren't any breaking changes from what I can see, to ensure that there aren't any issues due to version incompatibility, I would like to downgrade from 11.33.0 to 11.31.0 instead.

Does anyone know whether I can just run the 11.31.0 platform installer or are there anything extra i should know if i am downgrading, or is it recommended not to do so?

Hi,

there isn't a simple way to downgrade the platform server. The normal approach is to re-install the environment using a previous database backup.

I've reviewed the differences between 11.33.0 to 11.31.0 and don't see significant changes. If you are not having any issue, I'd suggest just keep the current version, if you didn't create a backup before upgrading.
