[Web Previewer] Drag and Drop Emails Not Working in New Outlook Version

Hi Team,
When I switch to the new Outlook interface, I’m unable to drag and drop emails into a component in my application. This functionality works perfectly in the classic/legacy version of Outlook, but fails in the new version. 

Details:

  • I am using the new Outlook for Windows (2023/2024).

  • In the legacy version, I can drag an email from Outlook into a component (e.g., a web app or a desktop application), and the drop is handled correctly.

  • I’ve tested on multiple machines and with multiple environments.

hi @Ranjeet S , hope you're doing well.

You may also choose to wait for an update on the Forge component, as it appears to have functioned correctly with earlier versions of Outlook. It is possible that the component will be updated for compatibility with the latest Outlook version in a future release.
