Kicking off a new era: toward new frontiers, together

Hello, OutSystems developers! Woodson Martin here.

First, I would like to say that it is a pleasure for me to address you all in the Forums for the first time, and that I plan to keep an active presence here as soon as I get more settled in.

For the last 30 years, the best, most energizing experiences in my career have been the times I spent with the people who actually use the product every day. OutSystems has an amazing developer community, and it's been awesome to see its growth so far – I'm excited to start working and to learn from this amazing group.

The OutSystems platform has expanded the universe of who can become a developer. I intend to build on the incredible legacy shaped by Paulo and all of you, expanding even further what it means to be a developer through the power of low-code and AI.

My vision is that OutSystems is the AI-driven platform on which developers around the world choose to build not only their apps and agents, but also their careers. And to achieve that, we will continue to improve the experience we provide to this community in alignment with our strategic priorities – from how we onboard new developers to how we make it easy to adopt new technologies and foster a trusted, sharing community.

Because, as Paulo mentioned, you are the builders, the problem solvers, the experimenters who truly push the boundaries of what’s possible on our platform. When you build new software, you're working at the edge of what has been done before. And at OutSystems, we can continue to push out how far our platform can go in helping you build beyond that horizon. We will discover new possibilities together. And, to me, that's incredibly exciting.

For now, let me just say I really appreciate all the welcome messages you have sent me in various channels. Thank you for making this community something truly unique. I look forward to seeing you all in person this September at the Global ONE Conference, in Lisbon! We're just getting started.
