Mobile Pages showing up in desktop size

 Mobile Pages showing up in desktop size

Symptom

Your mobile page shows up very small in the mobile phone screen, as if it was scaled for the desktop

Cause

The meta tags that should be included in the page identifying it as mobile are not present:

<meta name="MobileOptimized" content="320" scheme=""/>

<meta name="HandheldFriendly" content="true" scheme=""/>

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0, minimum-scale=1.0" scheme=""/>

<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes" scheme=""/>

<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" content="black" scheme=""/>

<meta name="format-detection" content="telephone=no" scheme=""/>

This happened because the “mobile_scripts” widget from platform’s RichWidgets was removed from the Theme’s Layout_Normal.

This script is included in the footer of the theme and is usually eliminated when the footer is removed.

Resolution

Drag and drop the mobile_scripts widget to any place on the layout_normal template.

And your page will be correctly formatted:
