Hello @daniel,

Thank you for your respoonse

reached out to outsystems support and they just confirmed below,

1) for Auto-Growth Trigger: An internal alarm is triggered when there are only 30 GB of free space remaining in the database.

2) Amount of Increase: Once the alarm is triggered, the database storage is increased by 40% of the current size.

(although this is not automatically reflected in LifeTime)." ,could you please suggest where we can verify its happened, or how check the updated space.

Hi Priya,

I  asked this question to OutSytems in a support case back in 2022, and this was the reply back then:

"We can also confirm that we increase the database storage automatically once the available physical space of an environment's database is less than 30% (although this is not automatically reflected in LifeTime)."

To comment on this:

  • This was in 2022, I don't know if the policy is still like this or not
  • It doesn't state with how much is the increase, but I think you can be rest assured there will always be 30% free space at least.
  • If LifeTime shows less than 30% free space, you can ask OutSystems via support case, to ensure that the real capacity is reflected again in LifeTime. This is a bit akward, but that process is not automated at OutSystems.

Regards,

Daniel
