Does ServiceStudio work on a laptop with Snapdragon X Plus or X Elite?

Hi community,

I'm seeing a lot of new windows laptops with snapdragon x processors and I'm not seeing any information if ServiceStudio works on those processors.

Anyone owns such a laptop with snapdragon processor that can answer this curiosity?

To clarify, the mentioned Snapdragon processors use the ARM architecture, instead of the "more traditional" x86_64 architecture.

Following this post, because I'm curious as to what the answer will be.

Hi @Tiago Dias ,

  Service Studio requires Windows 10/11 64-bit. Windows on ARM devices (like laptops with Snapdragon X chips) generally support running “classic” x86 or x64 apps using emulation.      Microsoft has made improvements so x64 applications can run via emulation on Windows 11 ARM. 

Because of that, many apps designed for x86 may still “just work” on these ARM machines, though perhaps not as efficiently or with exactly the same performance. 

 Try once.
