How to use Outsystems or ODC Service Studio inside macOS (M series) ?

Hi

I need to clarify some doubt related to Outsystems service studio compatibility with MacOS.
For M series Apple MacBook (M1 to M4) these are Silicon ARM based laptop so officially from Outsystems Servie Studio download section I cannot see any option to download installer for macOS (As of Septemeber 2025).

So If we want to use Service studio inside macOS what indirect way to use without using Virtual Machines like Citrix or VMWare. But somewhere I heard about Parallels Desktop, Crossover, UTM etc tools which is booting Windows inside MacOS so how good it's working for Outsystems developer.

Anyone have first hand experience then please share with us.

I'm using a Macbook M2 Pro, no issues at all. Forgot which version i downloaded or what option i choose during then.

But now, in the Downloads screen, we have the following option. Choose the M-series, it should be fine

Thank you.

Hello @Jun Mun Chan ,

Where can I find this version for Mac?

I went to https://www.outsystems.com/downloads and couldn't find it there.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can find it here: Software Downloads Service Studio - 11.55.58 | OutSystems

From the downloads page you need to click on the Service Studio container.
