[Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3)] Intermittent error in Amazon S3 component after platform update - Method not found

Hello

Since September 18th, we’ve been facing an intermittent issue with the Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) component (version published on December 23, 2024 by OutSystems).

The error message is:

Method not found: 'Void Amazon.Runtime.ClientConfig.set_ServiceId(System.String)'



We noticed this started happening right after the platform update on September 17th. Republishing the module temporarily resolves the issue, but the error has returned a few times already. 

The problem affects our S3 integrations in general (not only the GetPresignedUrl action), causing instability in processes that rely on this connector.

Is this related to the recent platform update? 
Is there any patch/update is needed to prevent the error from reoccurring.

Yes it is related to update Update the Amazon S3 component from OutSystems Forge to the latest version and republish your module.

Hello Paulo,

Have you attempted to create a Solution in the Service Center with the modules of that component and subsequently published it with the option “Publish with full compilations”?
