Hello,
My personal environment was inactivated but now when I am trying to activate it for Service Studio, nowhere I am finding that option. Is personal environment discontinued?
Thanks
how to activate personal environment for service studio?
Personal environments are still available in OutSystems; however, they might be deactivated due to prolonged inactivity (typically over 15 days without use). To address your situation, here's what you can do:
Verify Personal Environment Status: Log in to your OutSystems account and check the current status of your personal environment on the OutSystems platform page (https://www.outsystems.com/home/). If your environment is deactivated, you should see an option to reactivate or "wake up" your personal environment.
Reactivate Your Environment: If a message or notification is present indicating that your environment has been suspended, there will generally be a button to reactivate it. This process can take some time, so be patient.
Environment Deleted After Long Inactivity: If your personal environment was deleted due to extended inactivity beyond the grace period, you may likely need to create a new environment. Unfortunately, any applications or data from the deleted environment will not be recoverable.
Service Unavailable (HTTP 503): If you see a "Service Unavailable (HTTP 503)" message, it might indicate a temporary issue with the OutSystems servers or your environment. Wait for a while and try accessing it again. If the issue persists, contact OutSystems Support by raising a support ticket at support@outsystems.com. In some discussions, it is mentioned that such issues can occur on inactive environments. OutSystems may need to handle it and assist you in regaining access.
Explore More Information: You can also refer to the following articles that discuss similar personal environment issues:
It would also be a good idea to reach out to OutSystems support if the options are not visible and you are unsure why your environment is unavailable. They can clarify the situation and assist further.
If your personal environment has been deactivated and you're unable to access it from OutSystems Service Studio, follow these steps to reactivate it:
Log in to the OutSystems Website: Go to OutSystems Home and log in with the credentials you used when creating your OutSystems account.
Check the Status of Your Personal Environment: Once logged in, you'll see the current status of your personal environment. If it has been deactivated due to inactivity, you may see an option to "Wake up" your environment.
Reactivate or Fetch a New Environment: If your personal environment was deleted due to inactivity (typically more than 15 days without use), the "Wake up" button might not be available. Instead, you'll need to request a new environment by clicking Fetch a new environment from the same page. Note that:
Verify Access in Service Studio: After your environment is reactivated or a new one has been created, open OutSystems Service Studio and log in. You should now be able to connect to your personal environment.
Resolve HTTP 503 Errors (If Applicable): If reactivation fails and you encounter a Service Unavailable (HTTP 503) error, this may indicate:
Contact OutSystems Support if Needed: If none of the above work, and you're still unable to reactivate or request a new personal environment, the issue might require manual intervention. Submit a support ticket through the OutSystems support portal: Submit a Ticket Unable to access Personal Environment.
By actively using your environment or at least logging in periodically, you can ensure it stays active and avoid future deactivation.
If you are only seeing the ODC (OutSystems Developer Cloud) page instead of your traditional OutSystems personal environment, it’s likely because you were redirected to the new ODC platform instead of the OutSystems 11 environment. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
For more details, you can check this article Error messages while connecting to your personal environment.
OutSystems has begun rolling out its new OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) platform, which differs from the traditional OutSystems 11 platform. If you've received an invitation to the ODC platform, it’s possible that your personal environment has been migrated or set up there.
If you have multiple environments associated with the same email (e.g., a traditional personal environment for OutSystems 11 and an organizational ODC instance), you can try the following:
In conclusion, confirm you are logging into the correct platform (OutSystems Cloud or ODC), reactivate your personal environment if needed, and verify your environment through the Customer Portal if you have access to multiple environments. If all else fails, contact OutSystems Support for help.
was able to find it here Trial Portal but it really took me long to get to this page
Up top, in the menu-bar, you see the Tools menu.
Within that submenu, choose the O11 entry for your personal environment (O11, the trial portal).
The ODC entry is the new platform, where we also got access to.
hi @Suraj Borade Select o11 and please try
