I had a problem with my service studio 8 license.
I get the this message: license error - Unable to Contact Deployment Controller Service.
 
For those who have this same problem there's an easy fix. Run this command:"services.msc".
This will open windows service center. Then start or restart the service "Outsystem deployment service".

Works for me.
