ODC Personal Edition Default Admin Credential

I've created ODC personal edition for personal training.
However, in the portal login page, the same credentials as my outsystem account doesnt work. What credential should be use here?

Hi @Rei Co ,

Your ODC Personal Environment does not use the same credentials as your traditional OutSystems account (the one you use for community, training, and OS11). This is why you get the error:

Incorrect username or password (OS-UAUC-60004).

ODC has its own authentication system, and you must log in using the credentials specifically created for ODC Personal.

Why your OutSystems (community) credentials don’t work

OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) runs on a separate identity provider, different from:

  • community.outsystems.com

  • training.outsystems.com

  • OS11 cloud environments

So your normal OutSystems login will not work in ODC unless you create an ODC-specific login.

How to log in to ODC Personal

When you created the ODC Personal edition, you should have received an email titled:

“Welcome to OutSystems Developer Cloud”

Inside that email, you will find:

  • The username (usually your email) used for ODC

  • A link to set your ODC password

👉 You must set the password through that email link first, otherwise you cannot log in.

If you missed or didn’t get the email

  1. Go to the ODC login page

  2. Click “Forgot your password?”

  3. Enter the same email you used when creating the ODC Personal

  4. Reset the password

  5. Log in again

This will generate a password specifically for ODC, and it will work immediately.

Hope this helps,

Peter Hieu.

Hello @Peter Hieu , thank you for taking the time to respond. I'm leaning toward your explanation that my OutSystems community account won't work, which seems different from what @OutSystems Neo  mentioned and what's written in the FAQ.

However, I didn't receive the email titled "Welcome to OutSystems Developer Cloud." Instead, I received the one below:

I also tried doing the "Forgot Password" but I'm not receiving any verification code.
So I am not able to continue reset the password.

Hi @Rei Co

On these pages, you can fill in your username and password. If the username or password is incorrect, please review again. But first, you must do these steps.

Thanks for your response. I have already gone through the same two screens you shared, as shown in the attachment from my original post.
I tried to refresh the personal edition page, and after refreshing the page, the "Open OutSystems" button has reverted back to "Start Building," similar to what I saw during the initial setup. That being said, I re-setup again.

At this point, my Community OutSystems account is now behaving as expected based on the OutSystems Neo onboarding flow. However, the issue now is that, even though I can log in - I am encountering the following error:

I presume, this is just an internal problem within ODC, and they might just be doing some update under the hood. I'll just continue to check/refresh everyday and see how it goes.

To log in to the OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) Personal Edition for personal training, you need to use your OutSystems Community account credentials. If you do not have a Community account yet, you will need to create one during the process. Once you have your Community credentials, they should be used to access the ODC portal and environment OutSystems Personal Edition FAQ.

Keep in mind that you need to log in to your Personal Edition within three days of registering for it, or you might need to request a new Personal Edition environment as stated in the guidelines OutSystems Personal Edition FAQ.
