Question

I have created 2 components in ODC and their status is added to forge.

they are available if i search on odc portal. but i am not sure why they aren't displayed in forge page. https://www.outsystems.com/forge/

What are its components?

For the ODC, the main one can be found at:

https://<YourEnvironment>.outsystems.dev/forge

If it appears there, that's great.

But to make it easier, list the components here.

I also see them in ODC Portal: CSSCarousal and ExcelColoring are the latest from your company.

Indeed it is strange. Will ask the reason.

@Nuno Reis : Looks like it's not just these 2 components which are missing on the forge but many starting from 22nd January. eg:

ODC Portal

Forge

Looks like something is broken.

Components created in OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) may undergo a different approval and publishing workflow compared to those created in the traditional OutSystems platform. As mentioned in the shared discussion, the ODC Forge approval process generally takes longer. This could be due to stricter quality assurance checks or new publishing protocols implemented for the ODC environment Forge errors.

Additionally, components designed specifically for ODC may not appear in the traditional OutSystems Forge because ODC uses a separate Forge ecosystem to align with its unique architecture and platform capabilities. To publish a forge component built in ODC, you would need to follow the documented guidelines for submitting components for review and approval Forge components best practices.

OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) introduces a Forge ecosystem for reusable components, but components built using ODC may not yet appear in the general OutSystems Forge (https://www.outsystems.com/forge/) depending on their approval and publishing status. To find the URL for ODC-approved Forge components, you should follow these steps:

  1. Access the ODC Portal:

    • Log in to the ODC Portal, which acts as a unified console for managing ODC applications and resources. You can navigate to the Apps or Forge section within the portal to search for components ODC Portal Overview.
  2. Search for Components:

    • Use the Forge feature available directly in the ODC Portal to search for components by their name, purpose, or functionality. All components listed here would be ones approved for ODC environments Getting started.
  3. Check Component Status on Forge:

    • Ensure the components are fully published and approved. If they are still marked as "Added to Forge" or "In Review," they might not yet be visible to the general public. Delays in the approval process for ODC components happen because of additional quality assurance steps for cloud-native solutions Forge errors.

If the component is confirmed to be available, its URL would typically follow the Forge pattern: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-<ID>/<ComponentName>. You can copy the link directly from the component details page in the ODC Portal or OutSystems Forge.

In ODC, you can go to Forge \ My Assets

Look for the tab Submitted to Forge. Whatever the status is, you can refer to the component on Forge from here.

Saugat
