Question
Application Type
Reactive

I created a user manually inside the Users screen.

However, when I try to login the user using the default login function inside an application, it returns invalid username/password error.

Hi,

I don't think there should be any technical issue. You just need to check below pointers.

  1. Entered username password are correct and user is active.
  2. You have role assigned (permission) for the application, although it should not stop login you will see invalid permission page.
  3. You didn't set any other user provider except Users in the applicaiton.

regards

Hello @vikas sharma ,

1. I have key in the same username and password as per when I created it. User is active.

2. I have assigned the role in the users module.

3. Yes, the user provider is set to Users for the application.

However, I do have an external authenticator being configured (Microsoft Entra). But the logic to login are separated.

The default login using the top login button, and the authentication is using the other one. The AD login is working fine, but the default login are not working.

After I customized the default login, the user can now login successfully.
