[Google Map] What's the difference between this component and "Google Maps"?

Help me out here. :)
What's the difference between this component and the original "Google Maps"?

A quick look at the code shows no differences. Is this just a fork? If you want to improve the other component the recommended way of doing it is to join the development team (visit the component page and then click the "Join the Team!" button in the end of the Team box).

While waiting for your reply I will mark the component as "Retired" (pointing to the original component).
We can change this later.
