Invalid object name 'OSSYS_SOLUTION'
Question
Installation
Symptom: The OutSystems Platform Community Edition fails to install. The OutSystemsInstall.log shows an “Invalid object name 'OSSYS_SOLUTION'”.

Cause: There were previous broken installations of the OutSystems Platform Community Edition or something went wrong during the installation

Resolution: Manually delete the “outsystems” catalogs on SQL Server Management Studio.

  1. Open SQL Server Management Studio

  2. In “Object Explorer” locate the “outsystems” (or “outsystems_”, “outsystems__”, …) catalogs and delete them.

  3. Follow step 3 of “Installation” as on this post.

  4. Re-run the OutSystems Platform Community Edition installer.
