Import for microsoft office 2003

Import/Export Data
Hi there guys!:)

I was just wondering my import to excel works great for microsoft office 2007 and up but if i open the document in microsoft office 2003 it looks jarbled or looks like encrypted. (I have attached the file for your reference)
I'm using application/vnd.ms-excel as mime type and the extension name is .xls

Is there something i'm missing? thanks in advance for the help guys!:)

Hi Lennard

The Excel files created by the OutSystems Platform are in Excel 2007 format (XLSX), which Excel 2003 does not support natively.
To open XLSX files in Excel 2007 you need to install this add-on from Microsoft.

 Hi sir! thanks for the reply, what i actually mean is that some of our customers are still using microsoft office 2003. my only solution for now is to export the records to csv.
