With the Outsystems Platform you can have serveral Environements running with different versions of the platform, although you cannot share the code between those Environments. However, you cannot have multiple front-ends with different versions.

The addresses ServiceCenter/LifeTime/Users/... are all unique so they can only point to one set of data.
Because different versions wouldn't run on the same data (components, datatypes, everything changes) that isn't possible.
Consider it as an incentive to upgrade and keep your datacenter updated ;)
