How about changing cache definition of sequences?
Question
I'm experiencing a performance issue.

I have a timer that loads a huge volume of data from a CSV file. 60% of the time is consumed by a sequence's next_val operation.

Can I mannually change the cache definition of the platform's auto-generated sequences with no worries?

Hi João,

It should de safe for you to change the cache settings of the sequence in your table.

Just out of curiosity, are you getting slowness on a Oracle RAC connection or just a normal connection?
