Connecting to local Platform Server
Question
Personal Environment
Hello,
I am rather new to Outsystems platform. As part of evaluating the platform, I plan to have a local install on Windows 8.1 laptop.
I have downloaded and installed Platform Server with SQL Server DB. I can see the databases 'osSession' and 'outsystems' created in SQL Server. However, when I open the Service Studio and specify environment as 'localhost', user as 'admin' and password as 'admin', I get an error that says unable to locate localhost.
Do I need to configure anything else specifically? I can connect to the ousystems cloud account, but that does not seem to give me the choice of connecting to my own local DB and also add any extensions.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
Thanks.
