[OutSystems Now] Required Permission Error when Publishing OutsystemsNow
Question

OutSystems Now (O11)

Hi There,
I have downloaded version 1.1.4 oap of the Outsystems Now. However, when I was trying to add the Native and OutsystesNowService modules towards the application that I am building, I was not able to add these as it requires republishing first. Publishing of both modules (Native and OutsystesNowService), I got this "Permission Denied" error. I understand that these entities are automatically created as System Objects and are also created in our development server. I have tried some research and it brings me to the issue of User not having "publish" and "reference" security levels in the system objects created (entities).
We would like to know how can we check the users authorized in these entities and how can we apply security levels to a particular user.
For your reference, I have attached a sample screen of the error.
Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Dennis

Hi Dennis,
I believe that is a ServiceCenter permissions problem. If you have the Administrator login please give it a try, or ask you Infrastructure Administrator to do it for you, by the way, if you just need to republish, you can publish directly from ServiceCenter, without need to open the eSpace in ServiceStudio.
Hope it helps!
Best regards.

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
We have actually tried to publish the downloaded OutsystemsNow app to our development environment using a user that is in Admin level, however, we still get the same error.
We need to publish the OutsystemsNow app within our development environment (service studio) as we will add this as reference to some of the applications that we are building.
Is there a way we can get to permissions created in the ServiceCenter? Can we identify from there which users have permissions to the system objects? Btw, we have tried publishing the app in the cloud environment and it worked. What must be the difference?
Thanks again,
Dennis

Not sure what's the reason for that error, nevertheless that are unsused references, this means, that there are no errors if you removed from the eSpace.
Could you give it a try?
I am not sure about what are you trying to implement, if if it's the right move to
add references to applications that we are building...
Did you have the opportunity to check this discussion about Outsystems Now customization?
