Setting web service name in site properties
Question
When moving a application from dev, test, prod is there a way to set the URL of the web service as a parameter so that it to can be moved from its dev, test and prod also?

Are you referring to a web service you have exposed, or one that you are consuming?

Hi Paul,
You dont need to keep the webservice url in parameter as you  always have an option to change the url in every enviorment from service center after you consumed or exposed a webservice.
You have to go to the espace and iside that you have Integration tab , there you will found the refrences of all consumed and exposed webservices details and from there you can change your effective url.
