Is the Get entity action cached for Static Entities?
Question

Since static entities only change when published (publish invalidates the cache) and since they are frequently used as enumerables it would make sense for their Get entity action to always be cached. So... is it?

Solution

Hey João!

Calls to static entities Get method are cached. Use at will :)

Hi,

Since the Get is cached, doing a query with only a static entity is also cached?

Thank you.

Hi,

When I investigated it on OutSystems version 9 it was not.

I monitored the queries in SQL server and saw them appear on every get call

If they are cached now that's a good thing because they should. I am still making my own cache functions for the statics ??
