Hi There,

Has anyone used the Paypal Recurring payments before? In our Business model, we have a requirement of setting up Recurring payments in way so that we will charge the client when they sign up for the subscription as a setup fee and set up recurring payments that should happen on first of every month which should start from next month if person signed up before 15th or the month after that if they sign up after 15. I have achieved the same functionality with stripe by creating Customer objects and using Subscriptions, but the documentation for Paypal is all over the place. I need to have access to the subscriptions as the amount of subscription will change over time and I want to update that automatically ( we get the user's declaration for this)

And can this component help me in achieving that? : http://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-discussions/201/PayPal

This seems very old as last time it was updated in 2011.

Paypal has both a REST (called NVP in the documentation) and a SOAP API, and the documentation can be found here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-pro/integration-guide/

You can use the Consume REST functionality of the platform to setup your integration with PayPal. You can read more about it here: https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/10/Extensibility_and_Integration/REST/Consume_REST_APIs

Hi João,

Thanks for your answer. I was looking to find their API Guide where they had all the details of all the parameters and finally found it at: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/payments/#payment_create.
