Our admins have switched Service Center to use AD Authentication. So now we have to use our AD user ids and passwords to login to Service Center and LifeTime.
I have an app that has the User Provider Espace set to ServiceCenter.
Now i can only log in to the application by using the old Service Center credentials but not Active Directory credentials.
Can someone tell me what i have to change in my app to use the AD credentials for Service Center users?
the user provider will only supply you the entities where the users are located, not the actual login logic.
The code uses the out of the box login functionality . i.e. Users.User_Login etc. but that doesn't work anymore now that service center is using AD. It only accepts the old service center credentials not AD credentials.
Does it mean I have to write all the login logic myself if Service Center is using AD? If so how can I login to service center using AD credentials in code? Does outSystems have a sample app?
Maybe this can help you:
Found a solution. The FORGE component Factory Configuration also uses ServiceCenter as the User Provider eSpace. It works with AD by verifying the login credentials using the service center web service function TestLogin. So if anyone else needs has the same issue take a look at the Factory Configuration's Login page.
