Hello, newbee alert,
Via workshop on which Outsystems was shown I got interested in the possibilities this company offers with their development enviroment regarde rapid application development. I downloaded development environment version 10.0.303. en 10.0.405.0 on my Linux laptop with CentOS 7 but whatever I try I can not get the installation started, nor plain, nor with the use of Wine/Wine64 or PlayOnLinux. Is there any possibility to use Outsystems Development environment on Linux systems or do I need to buy another laptop with in my opinion not that preferable Windows?
Thanks for advice and kind regards,
Aad

Hi Aad,
At the moment there is no Linux version of the Outsystems Service Studio and to be honest i'm not sure if its even part of their road map.
maybe check out the idea section https://www.outsystems.com/ideas/
Since you just want to test drive the platform, I would suggest installing VirtualBox on your CentOS instead of using Wine or PlayOnLinux. Install windows 90 days trial and you should be good to go.
