@Jan-willem van Vugt.

would it be possible to share this step by step guide with me? We are trying to make use of the plugin.

Or is it similar to this post : https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/22486/documentation-v1-0-1/

Hi Leeroy, thanks for your question. The plugin for hybrid messaging consists of two elements:

  1. The CM API connector
    1. This element provides the API connection towards CM for sending push/sms messages from your OutSystems (web) application or back-end. In case you will only send SMS, you don't need the Hybrid messaging plugin.
    2. More info here: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/1949/cm-api-connector/
  2. The Hybrid messaging plugin
    1. This element enables the user registration, number verification and push messages inbox in your OutSystems mobile application.
    2. More info here: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/1950/cm-hybridmessaging-plugin/
    3. The post you mentioned is indeed the step-by-step configuration guide to enable the push service for your OutSystems mobile application.

In case you'd like to see a live example of Hybrid messaging first, you can test yourself with the demo application: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/2488/cm-demo/ and try with the (native) android app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cm.notifire&hl=nl which has Hybrid messaging enabled.

I'd love to hear from you in case you require more information. You can contact me at:
