Hi.

In my mobile application, when I use it in Android, no data is being sent to Google Analytics dashboard, however it works fine in iOS.

Can you help me with this problem?

Thank you,

Ricardo Pedroso.

Hi Ricardo,

Is this happening with any Android device or for a specific Android? The device that you are using to test it has Google Apps (Google Play, ...)?

Regards,
Vitor

There's a new version of the plugin and while it doesn't change anything on the Android side, it was fully tested and everything is working as expected.

Have you had any different outcome in the meantime?

Also, if for some reason you're still not receiving the tracking data try the following:

  1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account.
  2. Click Admin.
  3. In the PROPERTY column, select Create new property from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select Website.
  5. Provide a Website Name. You may use the name of your app.
  6. Provide a Website URL. You may use your company URL or the URL for your app’s marketing site.
  7. Click Get Tracking ID.
  8. In the VIEW column, select Create new view from the dropdown menu.
  9. Select Mobile app.
  10. Provide a Reporting View Name.
  11. Click Create View.

Pay attention that this gives you a new Tracking Id so you'll have to change on the application.

This is a bit different from what the plugin documentation says but give it a try and let me know if it worked for you.

Cheers
