String Split during Offline mode

String Split during Offline mode

Hi community! :)

I would like to ask if there is a client action version of String Split (server action) or any alternative for a functionality like this? I badly need it for an offline mobile app. The String Split server action is blocking my requests during offline. Any suggestions that has delimiters or the same function?

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards,

Louise

Hi Louise,

Could you please details us what functionality do you want to achieve with string split, We can look for other ways.

Otherwise you can use JS as J suggested.

Thanks ,

Sachin

Hey Louise,

Take a look on this component.

Cheers

Hi J,

Thanks for the suggestion, I suddenly forgot about javascript hehe. Everything is good now, thanks again!

Hi Sachin!

I'm currently using the String Split for a data coming from a NFC tag and I just need to get the ItemCode in that data but since it was a service action it keeps on giving an error during offline. But everything is okay now, I use Replace to change my delimiter 'NewLine()' to another word and use javascript split. :)

Thank you all for the replies!

Kind regards,

Louise

Hi Henrique!

I got it all covered now :) But I might use that component in some parts of my project! Thank you for the suggestion!

Louise

Hi Boy,

You can use javascript Split function for split the string.

Try out the below link:
