Pedro Carrilho and António Martins developed an extension that had the ability to print directly to a network printer as part of their graduation project (pdfprint, or something like that). Regards,

I would like to have more information about the mentioned extension, for instance, if it prints a pdf document to a specific printer or to the default printer.

The mentioned extension includes the following features:

- List the printers of the server running the application.
- Control the printer spooler.
-- Resume print jobs.
-- Pause print jobs.
-- Cancel print jobs.
- Silently print word documents to a printer installed on the server with no popups.
-- Provide information about the printing result.
- Silently print PDF documents to a printer installed on the server with no popups.
-- Provide information about the printing result.

As is, the extensions uses the licensed COM PDF Maker DLL, and Adobe Acrobat to convert doc to PDF which can be changed.

Hi! I'm trying to use the extension but it gives an compilation error.

Carolina, can you tell us what the error is so we can help you further?

I searched the forge and did not find any printer specific items.

Is this extension still actively maintained? Is anyone still printing to network printers from their OutSystems server? I can't seem to find any guides on the forums, or extensions on the forge relating to printing from the server.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
