Is it possible to disable local storage on mobile app?

Is it possible to disable local storage on mobile app?

Hi,

We want to have a possibility to run mobile app in browsers that do not support local storage (and our app doesn't use one in its flows). The reason is that app is heavily related on js interactions and it is much easier to do as a mobile app with client actions flows than a web app.

Thank you.

Hi Mykola,

I'm not sure I get it. If you're not using local storage in your app, why would you want to disable it?

Its because they want to run the app, in browsers, but some browsers do not support local storage, and the app, even if you don't use it, stull have the infrastructure to have it (if I'm no mistaken).

I really don't know if this is possible, shutdown the local storage to not be present in the app, but I believe it's not.

Hi Aurelio and Eduardo,

Eduardo is absolutely right - we want to run app not only in Safari and Chrome.

I think it should be possible if remove some of default app calls that store "application info", "tracking enabled" and 'RolesInfo" variables in the local storage.
