Application Object Guidelines and Estimate
Question

Can any of you provide some input\feeling on AVERAGE how many AOs will be required per data table\screen.

Obviously applications are vastly different but I am looking for an average AO use for a simple use case e.g. one table + web screens to maintain.

Hi,

You have this here: https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/12068/software-units-vs-application-objects/

With this information, you will see that the number of AOs required for your "simple" case would be 1 Ao for the table plas 1 Ao times the number of screens.

In Service Center you can also check the number of AOs that an application is consuming.

Hi,

is there any update for AO accounting?

How can I avaluate the number of AO my code will consume, when changing from SU to AO licencing?

Best regards,

Hi Ana,

You can ask OutSystems to provide you with a temporary AO licence, just for checking how many AOs you are currently consuming. But in general, SU licenses are better than AO ones, afaik.

Hi @Kilian,

Could you please explain further about SU licenses vs. AO licenses ?

SU licences are a thing of the (distant) past, and do no longer exist. All licences are AO licences. Even older licences were converted recently (up until a year ago, we still had a SU licence, but it was converted to an AO licence with the latest renewal).
