Was looking at the demo for the google maps plugin trying to get an idea on how to change the map types. At first the drop down was not clickable, but I was able to adjust the css to allow it to register the tap event. Unfortunately the map still does not change to the proper map type after making a selection. Does anyone know what needs to be modified in order to get this to work, as I would like to duplicate this functionality in my app. Thank you,

That feature is implemented there.

It appears to be another issue with iOS. in order to get it to work, even in the demo i had to introduce a pause in the javascript.
