       I need to know the inbuilt database used by outsystem ie mysql or Oracle

HI Kaertik,

During installation of Outsystem platform you can select waht database you want to use. Here are the list of supported database .

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (Web Edition or higher edition), supported since OutSystems 10.0.502.0;
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (Web Edition or higher edition);
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (Web Edition or higher edition);
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (Web Edition or higher edition);
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (Web Edition or higher edition);
  • Azure SQL Database V12, supported since OutSystems 10.0.604.0;
  • Oracle 12c (12.1 or 12.2, Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition);
  • Oracle 11g R2 (Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition);
  • MySQL 5.6 (5.6.5 or later within the 5.6 version, all editions).

Please note that the list of databases above is outdated.

Do follow the link above, which will lead you to an updated list.

And link you to the full System Requirements, which you must keep in mind as you are installing OutSystems.

The post is more than 2 years old and hence lots of updates happened in the platform , the list of database was relevant at that time but the link is still taking you to the updated information.
