Logs are not being showed in Service Center after 4.1 Server installation

  

Symptoms:

After installing OutSystems Platform Server version 4.1 there are no logs being showed in Service Center. Even though the Log Service is running, during startup the following error message is generated in System Event Viewer.

"Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\OutSystems\Service Center\OutSystems.HubEdition.MQInfo.dll. Reference error message: The operation completed successfully."

Cause:

During the OutSystems Server installation process the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Runtime Libraries was not accomplished.

Resolution:

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Runtime Libraries SP1 or later. This could be downloaded from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647&displaylang=en
