Give user role to access production application
Question

Hello,

Basic stuff - I have published application to production.  Application implements 2 roles.  How do I add user to my production environment, which is on-premise - then add the role.

I have done this before, but does not seem intuitive.  Help!

Thank you.

Hi Larry

For applications users, you just need to access <yourserver>/Users on your browser, add your users and assign them the role of your app.

Check this forum post for more details:

hope that helps!

Thank you both.

I think this time it will stick in my head.

That /users thing just seems a bit disjointed from the LifeTime site.

Thanks again.

You use lifetime to grant access to developers that are developing your applications - so this is to give users access to the outsystems development environment (service studio etc).

You use the <yourserver>/Users espace (web app) to create users for the applications that the developers created on the platform. These people will not be able to access your outsystems environment to make changes to apps.
