Hi,

I am using "Crypto Library" forge component for encrypting the username and password. But whenever, I am trying to encrypt the characters more than the length of 14, the component is not working fine and it is throwing some error like "temp.length". Kindly help me to sort it out.

Thanks,

Vignesh Balasubramanian

Hello Vignesh,

Do you have a sample OML that you can share so we can take a look?

Cheers!

There are no limitations on the number of characters to encrypt.

Can you share the full error stack that you're getting?

Hi Ricardo,

I am receiving the error message "temp.length is not a function" when i am trying to insert more than sixty characters and i have also mentioned that Key size as 60, after mentioning that in such manner only i am getting this kind of error. Here i have attached three images which describes about that error and my implementation too.

Thanks,

Vignesh Balasubramanian

60 is not a valid key size for AES. AES works with 128, 192 and 256 bit keys. You want to use one of those values there.

Let us know if that allows you to overcome the problem.

Solution

Hi Ricardo,

I solved that issue and it is not because of the plugin. Its all regarding to the local entity, where i have tried to store the encrypted value, which has the length value of 50 and I had changed that value to some large extent like 256, now it is working fine.

Thanks,

Vignesh Balasubramanian
