I need to know how to create a Special List like the combo box has for a List box, so it isn't an empty box on the screen.

Hello Alisa,

I believe that the easiest way is to make the query that you use for the "Source Record List" on the preparation (if it is not there yet) and after that append the records that you would do on the Special List.

I am sorry. I am pretty new to OutSystems. Would you be able to show me screen shots of what you are talking about?

Hello Alisa,

David is referring to something like this:

In which the ListInsert action (System) would be like the following:

This should be a good starting point for you.

Cheers!

Another way is to define the special list and assign the values of the list, is it ?

Thanks,

Hi Sai,

The ListBox does not have a Special List.

If you want to make some items appear by default in a new record, you need to set the Selection Attribute, in the source of the List.

To make it show a message when using Select2 or Dropdown Select, you probably would have to use JavaScript or change the widgets (what would include cloning the modules where they are, as they are system components).

Cheers.
